Apple seems to be addressing problems left and right these days, and today was no different as the company responded to "BendGate."
In case you missed the hashtag, some users complained that their iPhone 6 Plus bent when placed in a pants pocket. Apple took a mighty bashing for the issue, but now it's fighting back.
The company said it's only received nine complaints from customers regarding bent iPhones.
In a statement to Re/code, Apple said the iPhone 6 Plus is built with a special anodized aluminum built for strength and that the phone endures rigorous testing.
"We chose these high-quality materials and construction very carefully for their strength and durability," the company said.
"We also perform rigorous tests throughout the entire development cycle including 3-point bending, pressure point cycling, sit, torsion, and user studies. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus meet or exceed all of our high quality standards to endure everyday, real life use."
