It’s the biggest iOS 10 update yet.

Last night Apple dropped a ton of software updates into developers’ laps, including new macOS, tvOS, and watchOS betas. But the biggest beta release was iOS 10.3. Though it's got a ton of bug fixes, the beta also has several new features and improvements throughout the software. While it’s developer-only for now, you can expect Apple to push it out to all iOS 10 users in a few weeks as a public beta with a final release sometime in the beginning of March. So just what's new under the hood in iOS 10.3? Here’s everything you need to know:

iOS 10.3: Find My AirPods

The biggest new feature of iOS 10.3 aims to address one of the biggest issues with Apple’s newest product: finding lost AirPods. Find My AirPods is a new option available in the "Find My iPhone" app and enables a user to see the last known connection where a missing AirPod had a connection with your iPhone, allowing you to better localize where it may be located. However, this feature will not work if the AirPods are in their case and given the AirPods have no geo sensors of their own, its functionality isn’t as robust as with finding other Apple devices.

iOS 10.3: Apple ID Settings Profile

This is a welcome new feature: at the top of the Settings app you’ll now see your Apple Id profile. Tapping on your profile will allow you to see all the devices you're signed into with that ID, as well as your name, email, and phone numbers on file, as well as your payment and shipping info.

iOS 10.3: iCloud Storage Breakdown

Another welcome feature: iOS 10.3 now shows your complete iCloud Storage breakdown. Tap on the iCloud section of the Settings app and you’ll now see a bar chart of what types of data is taking up your iCloud storage space as well as listing all the apps that use iCloud. It also includes the settings for Keychain, Find My iPhone, and iCloud Backup.

iOS 10.3: Apple File System Support

At WWDC last year Apple announced the Apple File System (APFS). This new file system is optimized for Flash and SSD storage devices and offers features including strengthened encryption, copy-on write metadata, allow of the cloning for files and directories, space sharing, snapshots, and more. Upon installing the iOS 10.3 update your iOS device will be updated to the new more secure and robust APFS.

iOS 10.3: SiriKit Bill Pay

Apple has expanded the capabilities of Siri in iOS 10.3. The latest SiriKit for developers allows them to make apps that enable Siri to be used to pay bills and check on the status of payments. Siri will even be able to schedule future rides from services like Lyft and Uber.

iOS 10.3: Maps Weather 3D Touch

A small, but nice, change, in Maps you can now 3D touch on the weather icon to see a weather forecast of your current location.

iOS 10.3: Dynamic App Icon Updates For Developers

This is a cool feature for both users and developers. In iOS 10.3 developers can push app icon updates to their apps at any time without needing to push new app builds to the App Store.

iOS 10.3: A New One-handed Floating Keyboard for iPad

While this feature actually isn’t in the 10.3 beta yet, its settings are. iPads of sizes 9.7in or smaller will soon be able to offer users a new one-handed floating keyboard for easier input access while holding the device with one hand.

iOS 10.3: Other Tweaks

In addition to the big new features listed above, 10.3 also offers a tweaked app animation when opening and app (its corners are now more rounded) and HomeKit gains support for programmable light switches, along with other minor visual interface tweaks.
