Have all the Samsung Galaxy S6's specs just been leaked?

Samsung may have said it's going to make fewer handsets in 2015, but the Korean manufacturer is almost certainly already hard at work on the Galaxy S6.

And according to reports in the Chinese media, the forthcoming handset has already been benchmarked using the AnTuTu app - giving us a look at potential specs. A leaked screenshot of the app shows the Galaxy S6 model number as SM-G925F and appears to confirm earlier rumours of the phone's components.

The 5.5-inch handset will, according to the leak, possess a 2,560 x 1,440 QHD display, 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor with an ARM Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There will also be 32GB of storage, a 20MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The OS of choice is, unsurprisingly, Android 5.0 Lollipop.

On the bench

While those benchmark specifications sound about right for what we'd expect in a flagship 2015 handset, we still have no idea of what the Samsung Galaxy S6 will look like. Samsung is reportedly considering a completely fresh design in order to re-energise its flagship model after lacklustre sales of the Galaxy S5.

What's more, we recently heard that the South Korean giant was experimenting with a new CAT 10 LTE chipset that could see the Galaxy S6 hit speeds of up to 450 Mbps. The company is also working heavily on the metal-rimmed Galaxy Alpha models that include the forthcoming Galaxy A7.

Even if we see evidence of the S6 at MWC in February, there's still a long way left to go before it's released and plenty of time for Samsung to change or upgrade parts of the device. So what we're saying (in a roundabout way) is that these specs are a long way from being finalised.
