HTC One M9 spec leak promises lots of power and a fancy new camera

A fresh batch of leaks suggest that the upcoming HTC One M9 will ship with some of the most cutting edge and powerful components, meaning that it's likely to be an incredibly impressive smartphone.

According to the new leaks published by the Twitter account @upleaks, the One M9 will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC which features a processor with four cores running at 2.0GHz, and four cores running at 1.5GHz.

This will allow the HTC One M9 to use the four faster cores for more demanding tasks, while using the four lower clocked cores during less taxing tasks, helping to prolong battery life.

It will apparently also have 3GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1080p display, 20.7MP main camera, 4MP front camera and a 2849mAh battery with either 32GB or 64GB internal storage, and if that's not enough there will be a microSD slot to add more space.

The HTC One M9 will also support some of the latest and greatest mobile data technology including VoLTE, carrier aggregation and LTE Category 6, which could see download speeds as quick 300Mbps. This coincides with what we've heard from Qualcomm regarding improvements to the modem that's included in the Snapdragon 810 SoC.

Would you like some accessories to go with that?

Upleaks also shared a list of what it claims are upcoming accessories for the One M9. These include a brand new HTC DotView 2 case; an improved version of the HTC One M8's case that displayed alerts and other information in a retro dot matrix style on the cover while the phone is asleep.

A clear case, a chassis that can be turned into a stand and a waterproof case are also listed, along with a waterproof headset, a Max 500 headset, HTC BoomBass speaker with WiFi support and a screen protector.

With the HTC One M9 pegged for launch at MWC 2015 at the beginning of March, we won't have too long to wait to see how accurate these leaked lists are.
