HTC's Hima is likely to launch at its own event in March

While the Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumoured to be arriving at CES in January it doesn't sound like HTC will be tempted to follow suit with its next flagship.

When asked that exact question, @upleaks replied "No". But it's unlikely that we'll see the HTC Hima at MWC 2015 either, as the serial tipster tweeted that "I think HTC won't announce Hima at MWC 2015, it may be announced at their special event…"

However we might not have to wait much longer than MWC, as they followed that up with a tweet that read "Hima – March." MWC is in early March, so it seems likely that HTC will simply hold its own event shortly after the show, much like it did with the HTC One M8.

The name's Hima

Oh and if you're wondering what the new phone will be called, in a response to a tweet calling it the HTC One M9 Hima, @upleaks replied "Not "M9 Hima", it's "Hima"", so seemingly HTC is dumping its 'M' naming convention after using it for just one phone, though it's still not clear whether it will be called the HTC One Hima or just the HTC Hima.

Obviously none of this is confirmed in any case, but as tipsters go @upleaks is one of the more reliable.
