Mere hours after specifications for Google's Nexus 6 handset appeared online, we may have just got our first look at the device courtesy of a leaked image posted on a discussion thread.
Laying side-by-side with an LG G3, the image seems to confirm the device's 5.92-inch form factor - putting it in iPhone 6 Plus territory.
The "Shamu" codename is clearly visible written on the back as is the Motorola logo underneath the rumoured 13MP camera.
Specs appeal
The photo itself was uploaded to the XDA-Developers forum by a user named Michael Sudol following a pretty comprehensive specs leak from 9to5Google.
Motorola is reportedly furnishing the new device with a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 3,200mAh battery. Which will be likely be needed given the 5.92-inch 2,560 x 1,440 display.
However, there's always the possibility that this is a prototype that won't reflect the final dimensions, so keep that in mind.
There's still no official word on when the device will launch but multiple reports suggest Google's announcement will take place in mid-October.
