Nokia's Lumia 830 will cost 330 Euro before taxes and subsidies, which converts to about £260.

Nokia has presented a challenge to Samsung and Apple with its Lumia 830, which is the first affordable flagship smartphone.Also see:Nokia Lumia 730 release date, price and specs UK.

The Nokia Lumia 830 is Nokia's thinnest, lightest smartphone yet, measuring 139x70x8.5mm and weighing 150g. This has been made possible by slimming down the optical image stabilisation module, but still providing a 10Mp PureView camera with Zeiss optics. Available in green, orange, white and dark grey, the Nokia Lumia 830 runs a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Windows Phone 8.1 with Microsoft Office, OneDrive and Cortana built in. The Lumia Denim update also provides faster photography, improved Cortana accessibility and reminders.

Internal storage is 16GB, but the Lumia 830 also includes a microSD slot that lets you add a further 128GB. The screen is a 5in 720p ClearBlack IPS-LCD.

The Lumia 830 includes support for wireless charging and NFC and has a removable 2200mAh battery (up to 22 days on standby).
