Ever since the OnePlus One earned itself a 4.5 star rating on TechRadar we've had high hopes for the OnePlus Two - which we'll have to call the OnePlus 2 from now on, as the company has apparently tweaked its naming strategy.

According to a new report from Forbes words are out and digits are in, so adjust your web searches accordingly. As yet the tweak to the name hasn't been confirmed by OnePlus itself.

Forbes also says the handset's launch has been pushed back to the third quarter of 2015 - and again issues with the Snapdragon 810 chipset from Qualcomm are said to be the cause of the trouble.

Manufacturing challenges

The next-generation processor is bringing high performance and low power use to a variety of phones this year but there have been reports of overheating problems - particularly in regard to the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The Snapdragon 810 has already been spied in the LG G Flex 2 phone, and none of the handsets LG has made have experienced problems so far, so perhaps it's an issue that varies between individual manufacturers.

Forbes says "manufacturing challenges" with the Snapdragon 810 are going to delay the OnePlus 2, and the jump to 64-bit processing could be part of the problem. If you're eagerly looking forward the arrival of the next OnePlus flagship, you could have a little longer to wait.
