Not so long ago there was a rumour that Samsung would create a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6 with a curved screen, much like it did with the Galaxy Note Edge.

But now the same site that made the claim is saying it's received updated information suggesting that might not be the case after all.

SamMobile claims to have heard from its insiders that there might not be an Edge variant of the Galaxy S6, but that there is still some sort of variant in development.

Mystery flavour

Unfortunately the insider doesn't specify what differentiates it from the standard Galaxy S6 so at this point we can only speculate.

Perhaps, for example, it will have a different design or build to the standard version, or maybe it will still have a curved screen but it just hasn't been implemented yet..

Hopefully as more Samsung Galaxy S6 leaks and rumours show up, we'll start to get a clearer idea of what's going on.
