At first glance the still-unannounced HTC One M9 - also identified by its alleged code name, "Hima" - seems far too similar to the existing One M8.
But two new leaked shots of the upcoming HTC flagship show off some of the subtle differences that will arrive in 2015.
If legit - and Phandroid is convinced of its source's veracity - the photos show definitively that HTC has moved the power/lock button from the top to the side of its next One smartphone, and moved the volume buttons down.
Confirmed specs
The source also confirmed that the One M9 will pack an octa-core processor - though not necessarily the allegedly troubled Snapdragon 810 - and 3GB of memory.
And the images match up with other recent One M9 leaks, including shots of the M9 next to its predecessor.
The HTC One M9 is expected to debut around MWC 2015, possibly alongside the HTC Desire 626 and HTC One M9 Plus.
