The Nokia 7 Plus might not be as headline grabbing as the rumoured Nokia 9 or Nokia 8 Pro, but there might be reason to get excited about the idea of HMD Global bringing some premium-class to the mid-range segment if these latest leaked renders are any indication.
Looking very much like official product renders, the images show the three colour options the Nokia 7 Plus is expected to arrive with; each has a black front fascia and rose gold/copper trim around the camera and fingerprint scanner. The colours are most visible on the back panel, but can also be seen creeping around the edge from the front a little. The options are black, white, or a dual-tone black and white model which is halved down the middle.
In terms of the specs, it's thought the Nokia 7 Plus will feature an 18:9 6in display - although what type of display tech and resolution is currently unknown. Inside there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, while the primary camera is believed to be a premium offering with a dual 12MP and 13MP sensor array. All of this is not 100% verified, however, so take it with a pinch of salt.
Some sources have suggested a MWC 2018 launch, which logically seems sound, especially as more and more details of the Nokia 7 Plus are emerging the closer we get to the Barcelona-based expo's kick-off point of February 26.
NPU has now showcased yet more leaked renders of the handset, shown below.
The Nokia 7 Plus now has a product listing with online retailer Clove UK, including a full spec list, an arrival date, and a price. It'll arrive on April 16 and you can already pre-order it in the Black & Copper colour variant for £350.
The spec list is as follows:
